The shape of this page

Hard Asset Reserve (“HAR,” “we”) is a private-client office that prepares reviewed Physical Reserve Strategy Briefs for investors considering directly owned precious-metals reserves. This policy describes what information we collect through the intake and the site, why we collect it, and who else handles it on our behalf.

What we collect

  • From the intake: name, email, phone, country of residence, preferred contact channel, engagement timeline, stated objectives, custody preference, approximate reserve range, ETF-vs-physical orientation, referral source, and any free-form notes you provide.
  • From the site: standard server logs (IP address, user agent, referring page) retained briefly for abuse detection, and aggregate page-view analytics that do not identify individuals.
  • We do not collect: net worth, income, holdings, tax status, social security or tax identification numbers, or account credentials of any kind. HAR is not a registered investment adviser and does not conduct suitability review at the intake stage.

Why we collect it

The intake exists for one purpose: to prepare a considered written brief in response to your stated circumstance, and to coordinate a private conversation where that is appropriate. Information is used only to serve that relationship and the operation of the firm.

Who else handles it

We rely on a narrow set of service providers. Each is bound by its own terms and handles only what is necessary for its function.

  • Supabase — database and authentication for HAR’s internal systems.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery for confirmations and strategy briefs.
  • Anthropic — large-language-model inference used to prepare initial brief drafts. Drafts are reviewed by a partner before any brief is sent to you. Your intake content is transmitted to Anthropic for this purpose and is subject to Anthropic’s data-handling commitments.
  • Calendly — scheduling for private conversations, when you choose to use it.
  • Vercel — hosting and content delivery for this site.
  • Plausible Analytics — privacy- first, cookie-free page analytics. No personal identifiers are tracked.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on the intake form. No personal profile is built.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share it with marketing partners, data brokers, or lead aggregators.

How long we keep it

Intake records and strategy briefs are retained for as long as an active or reasonably foreseeable advisory relationship exists, and for a modest period thereafter for continuity and audit purposes. You may request earlier deletion by writing to privacy@hardassetreserve.com. Backups and audit logs required by law or sound recordkeeping may persist briefly beyond that request.

Your rights

You may request access to the information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of the record, or a copy of your submitted intake. We respond within a reasonable period and may ask you to verify identity before acting on a request.

Security

Data is transmitted over TLS and stored in systems with access limited to authorized personnel. No internet-connected system is infallible; we treat the intake as correspondence and not as a confidential account disclosure.

Children

The intake is not directed to minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information, write to us and we will remove the record.

Changes to this policy

When the substance of this policy changes we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify active prospects by email. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
